And He wants to change your life as well. John 14:6
Jesus claimed He knew God, but Jesus also said He was God. And that troubled the religious leaders of His day so much that they plotted to kill Him. He was crucified on a cross. But that was over 2,000 years ago. Why does it matter to you now? How does who Jesus is and what He’s done affect your life now? How does that affect your life when you are just trying to survive, trying to make sure your bills are paid, and living the life that you live.
God, the Creator of the universe, has a purpose for you and your life. He loves you and wants to help you because He is a good God. And because of that, His plans are better than your plans. You don’t have to measure up to some impossible religious standard to know Him. You just have to take a few simple steps. Romans 10:9-10, I John 1:9
You don’t have to be perfect to come to Jesus. Come to Him as you are and when you do you realize that your imperfectness separates you from His perfectness. He is great, you are not, but through His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, He has made a way for you to be restored to Him. Through that He takes all your wrong and gives you all of His right. Romans 4:5
If you believe that and commit to following Him, your life will never be the same. It’s as simple as repenting of your sin, declaring you want to follow Jesus, and believing He is who He says He is.
Believing in Jesus and confessing and repenting leads you to the first step of the greatest journey of your life. Simply cry out to God. If you are reading this and He is stirring your heart to be saved, do not wait another moment. Give your life to Him. There is power in the Name of Jesus. I John 4:7-21, Romans 10:13
